They’re a bit more leggy than I think is healthy, but hopefully repotting them will help.

Mine barely grew before a buddy suggested putting a foil wrapped cardboard backer behind them. Does double duty: bounces some light back to them and keeps their little window nook a bit warmer.

    Lil something like this.

Currently I can’t see any alt text on this image.
There are people here who participate in Mastodon with a screen reader. In order to be able to imagine what has been posted, they need an image description as detailed as possible. You enter that when you upload the image. #AltTextMovement

Yeah, I get that this is important to certain people…and that writing better image descriptions leads to better inclusion.
On the other hand, at times it is not really helpful to come around like a snobby-bossy know-it-all that tells people how they are so wrong with what they do…

How do you find the seedling heat mat? Does it work well?

I’ve been germinating my seeds with a tupperware in a bit of soil on a high shelf, but it only really works when I have the heater on in the house. Now nothing is sprouting cause the heat is off.

I find that most seeds sprout well without a heat mat, but for peppers especially I bought one last year and I’m really glad I have one now. I use it for all seeds that like it warm and my sourdough starter. No problems with germination that way anymore.
