    Without watching the video: Playing the same game over and over again, getting killed and when dead you get to upgrade the things with the loot from last run, then you start again

      I believe that’s roguelite. A roguelike should have zero persistent upgrades between runs (like Rogue did, unless there’s another term I’m unaware of).
