I felt it was inevitable but its so sad nonetheless. Great player, great guy, injuries have destroyed his career. Best of wishes to Tomi, hope he gets back to playing.

Despite his injury woes, I factored him into next season. Berta clearly thinks it’s a waste of resources.

I hope he doesn’t end up in saudi league, I would like to see him play for Japan again. Moriyasu has said he wouldn’t consider players for the team in lower leagues like that.
