I’ve inherited the management of an EMC VNX5700 at work. Looking at the whitepaper, it seems like this model should be able to do LUN snapshots, However, when I right-click a LUN, there are no snapshot options. They’re pool LUNs and not RAID group LUNs, so according to that whitepaper, snapshots should be possible. And yet…nothing.

Does anyone have any insight on this?
