Got suspended on a thread with a link to an article about the Trump admin saying immigrants better watch what they say about Charlie Kirk’s death.

My comment “ f Charlie Kirk, I’m glad he’s dead.” apparently ‘glorifies violence’ and was enough to suspend my account.

I can’t tell you how many accounts I blocked on that site making light of Palestinian deaths in this ongoing genocide. But make one little comment about a right wingers death? Suspended.

    Yeah fuck them, bunch of cowards. One of my posts there got automatically removed a while back and I got an email about it, the post was something along the lines of “We need more Luigi Mangiones” or something like that.

    They even banned a prominent leftist trans user in there recently, but I guess that due to the backlash the account is now back.

    Also the CEO posted this shit, what a coward lol. Palestinians get banned if they dare breath slightly wrong on there, but saying anything mean about Charlie KKKirk charlie kirk is too much apparently.

    This pushed me to finally take a look into Mastodon, already chose a server even, just need to register. I’ll remain in BlueSky since I follow a shit ton or artists there, but BlueSky can get fucked for all I care.

      It’s amazing how quickly the “twitter alternative” started to suck as much as twitter.

      And 100% folks can get away with brazenly awful right wing comments but they shut you down with the quickness when you use the same language against right wingers.

        Exactly. I won’t say its on the same level as Twitter since that is now a nazi hellhole. But it is becoming shittier by the day.

        The only saving graces for me on BlueSky right now is that there’s a lot of brazilian leftists there and that they seem to at last not be moderating posts in portuguese that are making fun of KKKirk, at least that I have seen, and I have reposted a bunch of it lol.
