Goddamn. This just hardens my resolve to finally give up on IT and devote my life to studying and working in conservation. People are like “there’s no money in public lands” and I’m like yeah well there’s no decent money and security to be found literally anywhere in this dump country including the trades, at least I can live off grant money studying something I love.
