A lot of things that other functioning democracies consider fraud or corruption are legal in the US. So elections aren’t technically fraudulent, but neither are they free or fair.

I always find this weird because no matter how you draw the maps you’re tipping the scales one way or the other.
I think the US system is broken more than most, but there isn’t really a “pure” system.
