Hey all!
Sorry for the post being a little later than usual today, but welcome back to the weekly stats share! Before we get into that however, a quick announcement.
Last week I promised to have a wiki page ready for desktop applications. While that has slightly changed, I have gotten a wiki page up and ready for ways to submit your listens to ListenBrainz via desktop applications on Windows! This week I’ll be working on browser-based means to submit your listens, and the following week I’ll begin working on what’s available for Linux users. Feel free to check out the new wiki page here !
Now that that’s out of the way, please feel free to share what you’ve been listening to the last week, and how your stats look! Interested in seeing if there’s anything new.
Forgot to share my own stats yesterday whoops!
This week I didn’t do a whole lot of listening admittedly. I do plan on upping the amount of stuff I listen to this week in general.
I did finish listening to dj TAKA’s True Blue, and that was magical, though a number of the tracks I heard there were tracks I was already familiar with through osu!, though there were some that were brand new to me that I really enjoyed. For example, I only ever listened to a cut version of the title track True Blue, and the full version of the song was gorgeous. Also loved listening to AA -Renaissance Concertino Mix- by OSTER Project.
Also listened to the TEXTILE album in full by denou.wav. I’ve already listened to two tracks from the album that I enjoyed which is what prompted me to listen to the album to begin with, those being Luster by Purukichi and Heap Overflow by Gomadare, but I ended up really liking New Semiology by KAMIN, and Emphasized Instability by Sot-C was an easy highlight of the album for me.
As always, regions were pretty disproportionately favouring Japan because of the genres I like most, but I do believe this might change a tad come next week as right around the cut off I listened to Voggue’s Dancin’ the Night Away in full, and am just now finishing of Slugcology 101 by Doug and the Slugs.
(first time trying to post images here hope it works!)
Here’s my weekly stats! My scrobbling journey is not very long sadly, but I’m happy I can track my music now, even if many past obsessions are lost to time. Currently, as you can see, I got madly obsessed with Twenty One Pilots, mostly thanks to my partner lol. Their new album Breach is currently playing 24/7 on my mind.
Another notable artist on the list is Toby Fox, who released new undertale music for the 10th anniversary (AND A NEW VERSION OF MEMORY WHICH IS LIKE MY TOP 5 TRACK ON THE UT OST).It’s also worth noting that I am trying to reduce how much media I stream, so this is in its majority music I have locally on my PC (either by buying it or pirating bc I don’t want to support certain people).
aw dang the image is not working I knew it.
If anyone could help with that I would appreciate it.
