    And while we’re all waiting for this mythical transformative AI that may never arrive, teachers have real problems now that need to be resolved.

    Plus, with the current use if LLMs teachers are starting to think more analog. More in class writing assignments on pencil and paper.

            Things like In class essays, instead of homework. Because we need to promote thinking and creation, rather than copy-paste

            Exactly. Since we invented calculators nearly a hundred years ago students have been unable to learn how to do basic addition and multiplication unassisted.

              We see that one for sure. 16 year old not knowing how much change they should get back if they buy something for 15.70 and hand the cashier a 20.

              At work I had to help an engineer tally objects on their screen, because they struggled to keep track after 10.
