I’ve been making posts in my community at Midnight CST for the past week. Over the last two or three nights I’ve received 503 Bad Gateway errors around Midnight CST, and again around 1am CST.

The notice screen from Cloudflare has pointed to the instance, as there doesn’t appear to be an issue with my ISP, nor with Cloudflare’s side.

Are there backups going on, or some other issue that has been happening.

    I also noticed over the same period that I was getting DNS failures and upon investigation I discovered that a DNS blocklist of malicious sites had included feddit.online, probably submitted to maintainers by a malicious actor (or a clueless one).

    Looks like they’ve removed it now.

    Anyhow, thank you so much @Jerry for the additional DB hardware! I’ll see about giving the ko-fi a bump.

      On top of this, the DB CPU was maxing out too. It’s now running with 4 CPUs, instead of 2, so given that I’m no longer blacklisted (WTF!) and the 2 extra CPUs, things should be good now.
