I love using Friendica, but it needs expensive resources to keep running, and even with oversized hardware there are time-outs and problems relating to inherent performance issues that have not been addressed.
It costs over $2,400/year to keep the instance running. Things change. I can no longer afford it.

This hurts me. I really enjoyed hosting Friendica and I feel close to all those who had accounts. Thank you for being part of this.
I plan to keep my Mastodon (hear-me.social) and my PieFed instances running (feddit.online) running.
