I’m fairly convinced at this point that something like a Mexican Repatriation 2.0 is impossible under the United States unless we live under full-blown fascism (open, terroristic and militaristic dictatorship of monopoly capital).

You have too much popular resistance in the streets. The people are defending one another and frustrating the government. That gives me hope.

I don’t recall if anything like this happened in the Great Depression when it came to immigrants. This is a historical development.
