A new report shines a light on how poverty is impacting a growing number of Australian kids.

Data released by the Bankwest Curtin Economics Centre and the Valuing Children Initiative on Monday found 950,000 children will live in poverty in 2025 — more than 15 per cent of all kids in Australia. That’s up from 713,000 four years ago.

    I grew up well below the poverty line. Gen Z are dropping poverty memes about my life in the 80s. I guess the sliver lining is that I’ve got a pretty low carbon foot print.
