Maybe he was suspected of being a CCP spy by the authorities. Not totally unfounded, looking at Chinese spy operations inside the US.
Doesn’t justify killing him - particularly without due process.

As a Chinese American, I do not like your attitude. We aren’t spies. Most of us are here because China sucks, not because we wanna roleplay some nationalist “hero” bullshit.
I literally have zero alliegiance towards PRC or CCP.
I think you should like… go to Chinatown and actually meet ethnic Chinese people. Maybe that would calm you down a bit lol.
