    Just CBD things.

I live next door to a homeless outreach. Most of the clients are harmless, but there’s definitely a probability higher than zero that one of them wanders in and starts doing antisocial stuff.

Fires in the bin room in winter, for example, because someone’s broken in and is trying to keep warm. Drug use in the community garden - we try to clean up any detritus of that. Vandalism in public areas, and once or twice I’ve witnessed fights. I’ve had the lock on my mailbox cut off and needed to replace it. The occasional break in.

My tolerance for legally questionable shenanigans may be higher than many people’s!

Honestly I don’t know how you do it mentally, you sound so understanding and unfazed! I would be too worried about violence. Meth paranoia and aggression is frightening to witness. I would nope out of there as soon as I could.

I’ve been homeless myself. That’s sort of why.

The home I have now is precious to me, and I wouldn’t leave it lightly - I’m disabled, and I have some accessibility needs that this apartment is perfect for - unless I was absolutely certain of having somewhere else I could go that met those needs too.

A lot of the time I really like it here. It’s just…occasionally really feral because people suck.

It’s all good. I didn’t think you were being insensitive.

I HAVE thought about whether it might be time to move. I’m not sure what that looks like for me yet, but I’m getting very tired of the repetitive criminal shit
