[Announcement] PipePipe X (formerly 5.0 beta) is now available
Rewrite with a modern design, PipePipe X is now a separate app. It coexists with the current PipePipe installation
Both versions will continue to be maintained.
Late to the party but X has now been archived.
Not much info in the announcement. Are there feature differences or is it just new theming?

From a day of using it I think it’s a better experience overall. The player seems a lot smoother, especially transitioning between PiP and fullscreen and back.
Something weird going on with this one. The repo has been archived with a pinned issue stating that PipePipe X is not a replacement of PipePipe and a README saying they are rethinking their direction?
I love pipepipe, it’s one of my most used apps. But where the hell is this new version 5? All I can find is v4.77.
It’s no longer PipePipe 5, now it’s PipePipe X
Does that meaning I’ll get it if I wait?
I went in there. It seems that it’s a Newpipe fork.
