She is with her BF. This is the safest she can be under the current circumstances. It’s been a distressing evening for her and she deleted her account in a depressive episode but she’s going to be fine. She now finds it was justified what I did on 2026-10-10 and does not consider it “doxxing” or “swatting”. To be clear, I’m not happy I had to do it and I’ll ask her for emergency family contacts so I can make someone trustworthy text/call/visit her instead, which I’d prefer. I don’t, don’t want to, and can’t know her address but she can find mine now from what I shared with her when we met on 2026-10-04 and from earlier texts.

Yes, I did what it took to help her and it worked. The police here are mandatory high-school-educated and very good at de-escalation, and in a situation of “her word against mine” (she hadn’t started carrying out the plan; they didn’t want proof from me, that can be easily faked) they couldn’t do anything to her legally. All of the 20+ Czech cops I’ve interacted with in my life were reasonable and didn’t abuse their positions to be mean or angry or go beyond what protocols allow them to do.
I wouldn’t have done it if I could have visited her but my bigoted Mom wouldn’t let me (it’s only a few days later that my therapist told her she’s overly controlling, which made her relax this). I consulted Mom (she’s still quite close to me) and she said it was the right thing to do. My psychiatrist, psychologist and German teacher, who I confided in, all agreed.
Also, of course I wouldn’t if I had contacts to Miisha’s close ones who could call her or visit and offer hugs for example, which the police can’t do.
By the way, neither Miisha nor me considers this “doxxing”. I don’t know her address and couldn’t find it out if I tried. The police found it in their database and kept it secret from me. If I had known her brother’s phone number and used it to make him visit her, without me showing him the posts or him telling me her address of course, would you consider this doxxing?

No, I don’t have her address or means to find it. (Even if I go to her neighborhood, I have no idea what name to look for on doorbells: likely her BF’s, which I don’t know.) She once slipped up and revealed her name (I then gave her mine to make her feel less insecure, even though unlike hers, it’s basically linked to my address, which she can find with not too much effort). By learning she was at home, I could tell the police her name and neighborhood, and they used their database to find her, knock on the door and ask if she was fine. It may feel weird but our police is very much unlike US cops. Look at other comments, I think it did make her uncomfortable but it was justified what I did, given that − as many now agree − the alternative was genuine, high suicide risk.

Well, I didn’t give them any way to find her online accounts. Her digital identity is safe, I needed to do this to protect the person behind. And they need to know the name and whether she’s at home to do their job…
