Reach announces plans to close the Saltire printing facility with the loss of about 100 jobs.

Never a fan of the papers, or Edinburgh/Glasgow live, but they still sell plenty in Scotland. This is bad news for journalism, Cardonald, and the workers. Scottish editions printed in England won’t help their circulation either!

    I do mean gutter-crawling tabloids rather than papers in general - specifically as these are Reach Plc ones, which also have a big online presence - but yeah no disagreement from me about them not being the biggest problem
