They depend on it. Capitalism is an act of imbalanced need. I need money to survive, so I’m willing to trade my time for less than its worth to someone who does not need money to survive. Everything else is window dressing. At its core, capitalism is the violent act of abusing the poor.

Unless we have social systems in place that provide for basic needs like healthcare, housing, and food, then there is no such thing as a free market.
