    I’m sure there’s lots of crafts/work/hobbies where people end up ingesting nasty stuff due to not washing up afterward, but lead is not one you want to mess around with.

    I had no idea this was a thing. I bought a shotgun a few months back, but have never fired it. I’ve thoroughly cleaned it and I’ve handled firearms before. I do need to take it out to shoot a few rounds just so I’m familiar with the weapon, as it’s only intended for home defense.
