Skipping breakfast is never a way to not get fat. On the contrary.
not if you skip every other meal too
“Oh Mr Oobleck, you’re my best friend.”
Squishes non-Newtonianly
“It’s Doctor Oobleck. I didn’t earn the Ph.D. for fun, thank you very much!”
I wouldn’t mind the gamification of life so much if I didn’t have to also work and be a responsible adult so as to not become homeless and starving. It’s the combination of the two that’s really insidious.
Gamification of Life - An app that tracks each day you drink water and cheers you on by telling you your streak
Gamification of Work - loyalty programs that give you points to be spent at the employee shop if you hit arbitrary targets
Workification of Games - padding playtime with endless grinds and daily quests
Workification of Life - you better work if you want to keep living :(
Ngl my fiance and I compete on sleepscores with our Garmins
FYI: sleep scores are bullshit and have no scientific basis.
Gamification of sleep is harmful to your health.
I can’t believe BBC stole my idea.
Apple Watch’s sleep score factors in what time you go to bed, how long you sleep, and how often you’re awoken. I don’t think it’s scientific proof of how restful sleep is, but I do like knowing these stats!
Sounds like she leads a lonely life
