Makes sense, with hardware prices the way they are, a custom build is too much of a status symbol to hide under your desk.
I had hoped they’d make a gorgeous wall piece, but this looks terrible.
But how else can you collect dust this efficiently?
Add some Hummel figurines to it, for extra dust.
This would be cool if people could afford hardware normally, let alone the extra expenses to liquid cool a system.
I think I saw something online a few years ago about a minimalist/case-free PC build, where the components were more or less stuck right to the wall.
I thought it was a cool idea.
I think parent poster more meant custom caseless builds, like these.
The wood/copper one is my favorite, but the Transformers one is pretty cool too

Depends on what parts and case you’re getting, distro plates and cases can be expensive so this might work out even
