When the investment in AI datacenters dries up (and it most definitely will), all those moronic companies will return to the consumer market only to find out the market was taken from them.

If they are really going to serve consumer segments, I’m in.
Just like with solar panels, I’ll happily consider affordable state-of-the-art Chinese products, if companies from other countries don’t want to serve me at all or skin me alive.
Both RAM and solar panels should last a while. If replacement is due, I’ll have a look at the market again.
