Is there a reason to go for the 1tb version OTHER than the smaller lottery pool?

It’s primarily a streaming device. Any games that run on it locally won’t cost that much storage, and with all the bandwidth it’s capable of, deleting your 50th game to make room for another will be trivially quick.

Valve can say that its supposed to be a streaming device til they’re blue in the face, and that is definitely a major selling feature for me, but what they made is a Quest competitor, and one that doesnt send excruciating details of my wife, children, pets, and home back to headquarters. It also runs Linux! You can replace that with whatever you want with the knowhow!

I will be using the frame at work in the breakroom, in the woods, and I even read someone mentioning they use theirs for like YouTube while washing dishes and stuff.

Up until now, the quest “didn’t exist” for me, so this is going to be a standalone-first device for me with a pinch of desktop streaming.

What do you think you’ll spend the most time on with it? I haven’t checked in on the available library for awhile
