The all feed on YouTube is completely useless now, so for those that only use the subscribed tab, what’s your favourite channels?
I’m liking the PBS channels, Ryan Georg and pitch meeting, stuff made here, animagraffs, map men, practical engineering, tasting history, and couple of more but kinda similar theme.
Hermitcraft is usually good, PBS eons, TeirZoo, independent news (of the liberal/leftist variety), Overly sarcastic productions, Historia Civilis, inequality media, CGP Grey are all good stuff. I also enjoy Civvie11, YatzeeCroshaw, ERB, and a bunch of folks who mostly post shorts.
Oh, and if you are into Minecraft stuff, I’m trying to get back into content production myself. Same username.

Weed girlies:
Macdizzle420, jayblazedd
Coldwarmotors - Canadian rednecks working on old junk cars, mostly. They’re pretty funny at times and informative if you’re interested in old American cars, they also do old French and old British cars sometimes. They also do actual restorations. He did a 60 Plymouth Fury that I wouldn’t have even bothered with and spliced it with the platform of a 60 Dodge and made a really nice car.
Fall of Civilizations - It’s a podcast, but he does video accompanyment and the content is very well written and researched.
Thenthapple - does fallout lore videos that I really like.
JTCurtisMusic - has a really good history of rock series.
WellRedComedy - Trae Crowder (the liberal redneck), Cory Ryan Forrester, and Drew Morgan do podcasts from a rural progressive view and also have a lot of their stand-up and comedy sketches
A couple that haven’t already been mentioned:
This Old Tony
Sixty Symbols
Legal Eagle
Stefan Gotteswinter
Matt Godbolt
Kaname NaitoLegal Eagle has only gotten better with time. Liz Dyer is my favorite addition.
Fortnine: allegedly bikes but the videos are works of art.
Bad Obsession Motorsport: a new Project Binky video at least every 6 months!
RRC Restoration: a Scotsman doing up old bikes and cars.
Jeffiot: long form internet investigations of silly things that are fascinating.
New Yorkshire Workshop: a man doing up a house. No commentary, just amazing skills and great filming.
I like shadiversity but honestly its just because they are all like con guys and its fun to have them geeking out over medieval stuff in the background. pbs spacetime of course. Epic npc man, epic rap battles, the thing with doing alternate movie commercials.
Used to like that channel. His love of “AI” generated slop and shitty personal beliefs ramped up and hit the threshold for me.
I still love his thoughts on sticks, though.
you know I have not actually watched youtube much in awhile. I may have missed the ai stuff. He was actually getting a bit tiring with the youtube changes. I get it but as much as getting some income out of it is great the fact is he is doing stuff my friends and I would do for free for the heck of it. Don’t like the idea of google making money off the videos but the changes he made would be less views so google loses as well.
I use freetube but I’ve certainly watched less videos overall.
I doubt he gets less views. YouTube skews right so, I’m thinking he’s still growing.
