I love to learn. I find that listening to someone talk about things they are passionate about nets me a huge boon of information, minutia, and observations I could have never made myself.

Much of it I will not remember, but some of it is absolute top tier, high value knowledge that I would have never been able to distill out of whatever genre, without a similar investment as them.

I also love to see people excited, and to get to play in that with them.

I info dump because it is the human condition to default assume others are kind of like you. And also, I’m looking for those people. I’ll pick up on your cues pretty quick if you hate it though.

People who don’t, I assume are incapable of seeing the cues, especially if they are otherwise visibility autistic.

Neurotypicals who do this, I’m almost certain just don’t care about others at all.

Is it? I generally would assume it is a higher chance they would not be interested (conditional on that person being someone I don’t know).

But in any case I think it is mostly because I can’t explain complex stuff very easily to someone not acquainted with the topic so I find it useless to try. And I don’t suspect I am neurodivergent, atleast largely.
