Can it also give back strawberries their flavor? I miss good berries
Flavour strongly depends on sunshine. Without enough sun there’s no flavour.
The good one are red all the way through. You can tell by looking at the bit near the stem. If it’s white the strawberry will be rather sour. If it’s pink-red you have a sweet strawberry.From my experience the color says nothing about aroma and sweetness. Had some that were really dark red and tasted like water while others with a mix of light red and even white spots were delicious. I guess it heavily depends on the type of strawberries.
It’s not a guarantee, but I find that the organic, smaller, and darker ones, during harvest season, have the best flavor.
