Will It Ever Be Enough? Disney is Raising Prices Days After Confirming Ads Will Now Show Up on Every Tier, Even the One You Paid to Avoid Them

Disney+ is conspicuously absent from that list, which is worth highlighting given the streamer’s size and the fact that it has aired shows like Percy Jackson and Daredevil: Born Again.

I smell the desperation. No one has money, stop advertising.

its a red flag when they are pulling back alot of movies/show development. they know thier slop isnt paying the bills for the streaming service, which is hemmorhaging money.

I’ve taken to just buying DRM free books and hosting them on my jellyfin for family to read, along with the couple thousand I already own.

Asking for a friend, is Mullvad sufficient to pirate “safely enough” ? I’m tired of paying these pedo-enabling and fascist billionaires and corporations.

Ironic to choose Mullvad when talking about not enabling fascists

Honestly I’m not much better at the moment, I’ve got a Proton subscription (don’t know who Andy is giving money to, but he’s made pro-Trump comments in the past) that doesn’t run out for a bit yet since I’ve been doing 2 years at a time, I’ve tried PIA in the past and it’s fine, but I’m sick of their marketing. I’ve heard good things about AirVPN and IVPN but haven’t personally tried them out yet

I’ve heard good things about airvpn, now we just sit back and wait for someone to tell us why we shouldn’t use it.

I’m still on mullvad because I paid for a full year a while back and it hasn’t expired yet, but I’ll probably switch to airvpn in a couple of months.

Used it for years. No issue of notice. Sure you can’t port forward, but I don’t know what’s really needed for because I don’t seem to have any problem downloading things so never bothered investigating.

I’ve had a good experience with Torguard. When I looked into Mullvad I found they didn’t support port forwarding (unless this has changed recently?).

Sometimes it “escapes containment” but it’s all part of the game.

I wonder what the profit margins on streaming services are? I mean bandwidth is pretty cheap in this day and age, so it’s gotta be astronomically profitable.
