Lefty Memes@lemmy.dbzer0.com•I just saw a General Strike poster have his account taken downEnglish
17·2 months agoLow effort AI posters isn’t the best start, either :(
That would explain their “high confidence”. I’m ashamed I didn’t consider that angle to their service.
In that case I used Undetectable.ai, however I tried three others that all returned positives.
I usually opt for Undetectable because it was most confident when I tested with my own AI gen image… And 97% is most dramatic for my ‘narrative’ ;)
What’re the chances this isn’t AI generated?
Edit: 3% apparently

Man, [current hot live service game] has really gone down hill since [game’s most recent update] released. It’s like the Devs don’t even care anymore, y’know?

12·3 months agoTo be fair, a lot of domestic auto production is also subsidized. At least, based off my limited understanding, Toyota is given major tax breaks in Cambridge, Ontario.

Games@lemmy.world•Sony is releasing a new PS5 console, but it's a downgradeEnglish
41·3 months agoIs it currently possible to background transfer a game install from external HDD to SSD while playing a game? As far as I recall the PS5 did not allow that early into the system’s launch.
Not to simp for Sony, but if it is possible then I don’t think NVMe disk space is a massive issue. The system at least has a 10gbps usb-c port for external drive transfer.

Sorry for my confusion, but in this case does the “!” denote a “not equal to” operator like in programming? Implying the shirt does not go hard? In such case I agree! That shirt goes soft.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What product or service do you use less as a result of their marketing?

If their marketing budget is that bloated, then they may be charging too much.

My heart goes out to those folks, and I sincerely hope they can find the help they need to turn around their unhealthy lifestyles.
Haven’t you heard the expression “Missed it by a mile.”?

Climate Hope@lemmy.world•Underwater turbine spinning for 6 years off Scotland's coast is a breakthrough for tidal energyEnglish
19·5 months agothe Swedish company SKF announced that its bearings and seals on one of the turbines had passed the 6 1/2-year mark without needing unplanned or disruptive maintenance.
I’ve read many optimistic articles detailing tidal energy projects, however they seldom address the inherent upkeep costs for equipment and infrastructure.
I’m glad maintenance is mentioned here, but I worry that it glosses over that only one out of the four turbines passed the six year mark without needing disruptive repair. How disruptive was the other turbine maintenance? Does it push it beyond viable profitability?
I genuinely do hope for the technology to mature and introduce more clean energy alternatives.
I’m not very inclined to take at face value what a studio founder has to say about a service that might make them less money, and might save their customers money.
Nobody is forcing studios or publishers at gunpoint to release on a subscription service.

Wowww. This is how I find out about this after installing ‘one ui 7’ on my S23.
I reverted that button setting just now, but WTF.
