I checked my bands I listen occasionally, and the worst one was orange. (Kanonenfiber) Which is the only band I ever raised the question that it is okey to listen. It was shocking when I went into a concert (for a different band), and steped into the hall: The band was masked in full WWI uniforms and and the singer just raised his hand 😅. I was stunned. I pretty much enjoy their music, and later checked their background.

But, I don’t see why we can’t enjoy any type of medium which is created by shitty ppl. Aside from supporting and associating with ppl who share their shitty views ofc. At least this list is not black&white.

Manjaro is way different, its spearated from the Arch repos. Never used tho, and not plannig to either.

I think so, I use EOS on my desktop, but installed no desktop environment, and installed&configured a tilling wm and other stuff for my daily use. I installed Arch on my laptop and aside from the different tilling wm (and other apps for the wm) and some sensible default helper eos apps, the pacman reports are the same.

I think everyone should use whatever they like. Its ok to share experiences, and have expectations.

I use Arch (btw) on my desktop (EOS, but why reinstall arch, basically a same thing, especially cos I installed headless, and installed/configured my tilling environment) Never had issue with Gaming, even with an Nvidia card. And I have an arch installer pendrive if I need to boot into a live environment to chroot, and I have my config/rice tailored to my workflow.

Mint on my less used laptop. Currently has prue Arch with Hyprland, but I have no time to play with configs, and update regurally. Maybe I should look into Suse or Fedora? As for desktop environment, I would like to have a tilling wm without bar (small screen) but with the eas of full DEs like KDE Plasma… no such thing as far as I know.

Ubuntu or Debian for hosted/selfhosted servers. for stability/reliability ofc.

Everone talks about porn and loser males. Its more than that. Its way more. The banned all adult targeted games, even the ones which are not porn or gore. Many-many gamers are affected, way more than sexually fustrated nerds. They now start to see, that they poked the bear, and it came with the wolf and tiger to take justice.

There all places. The problem is where to find adult games that are not pornographic, or morbid, but targeted to adults? Like games where the story conveys depression/suicide/death/griefing, or other difficult topics?

My biggest problem is, they banned with this method, all the games that are targeted for adults but not porn, or gore. Like they hate spicy food and banned all things that are not white rice and unseasoned chicken breast.

It was really hard to find deep philosophical games which are good and are not containing porn or gore, but targeted to adults. Now its imposaible. They have literraly no platform. Unlike the porn games, they have many aside from steam and itch.

So, I just wanted to play a VN, which has 0 porn in it, 0 nudity, 0 gore, and less sexual appeal than an average B rated christmas themed romantic comedy. It portrays negative feelings, and shows depression, and plays with deadth and suicide. This game is targeted for adults, it is not suitable for children, and it is now shadow banned.

Many many games like this has no platform, hardcore porn games has alternative platforms, normal games for kids has platforms, but games with actual meaningful deep content, which are targeted for adults are not.

I don’t care if someone wants to jerk off to a fictional character. I don’t care if someone wants to see fictional characters abused. They can and will find it on the internet, or god forbid us, if they manage to ban all, they will find it in real life. Its a hard topic if it is moral, or it better or worse to the overall population if these contents are existing, and widely available. It makes it harder that censoreship, freespeech and the oldnew “protect the children” argument is brought into the conversation.

Censorship is not inherently bad (EG a lemmy moderator basically a censorship enforcer)

“Protect the children” is, in my opinion is the responsibility of their guardian. Parental controll is so easy to set up nowadays. I don’t think this is the job of the goverment. And fictional children are not real, they do not exist. I find it personally disgusting to portray harm to fictional children, but they are not real to be protected, protect the real ones, we have many abused, trafficed, or even starved to death.

So I accidentaly put too many words into my fustration, that I cannot play the adult targeted game I wanted, because some alt-right femminist from the other side of the globe are scared of pixelart nipples…
