  • The German problem is the missing representation, through a requirement of 5% of votes to be represented.

Then for the case of AfD, no one wanted to talk with them at all when they crossed the 5% mark. AfD has a lot of garbage takes, but they’re gaining traction for a reason and any extreme party will have some truth to their main requests.

AfD and MAGA went through the same route for becoming too big to stop, which was by being ignored until they had 25% of the voters support

I think we’re quite close to optimal in Denmark with the 2% requirement and then legitimately listening to all parties. Like right now there’s no need to include Alternativet/Greens. But everyone is aware the most climate extreme party will become big if everyone ignores them.

  • I’m mostly looking forward to the advertisement campaign, because this will be the largest global campaign to date

A cool billion on advertisement is not impossible with the size of this production. It’s insanity.

    But regarding your pointers;

    1. Goty? Don’t think so, tends to go to innovation.

    2. For sure, this will carry so much hype it will sell a fuckton. It’s also been like a decade and some, since the last GTA released. It’s a huge IP.

    3. absolutely not, I’ve not seen anyone expecting massive amounts of innovation. It will be a continuation of what GTA already is, likely with better graphics, a huge world (possibly the largest digital open world to date). But innovation? Nah, big investments kills innovation in games. They need a safe bet, they’ve not pushed 2-3 bn dollars into a game that could be either 10 million of sales or 10 bn. They’d rather take the safe 4 bn

  • Yeah, it sucks when an investment goes south, and yeah, that’s just how it goes sometimes, but they DID lose something.

Sounds like the inheritors lost something.

Again, families often need to move to larger (i.e. pricier) homes. This isn’t reserved for the wealthy class.

Which becomes easier to afford if housing is cheaper.

A lot of young people think they’re making investments right now, but as soon as housing falls, they’re going to be left holding a bunch of worthless cardboard over night.

The end game buyers of such collectibles, won’t be impacted enough from a housing crash to stop them from collecting.

Also far from everyone is speculating on collectibles, it’s a high risk high reward gamble to do so. Which unopened Lego boxes has proven. With the added sprinkle on top you need to be able to hold the items for decades

  • But that larger home lost even more equity.

Making you able to upgrade while taking on less debt, than if both houses rose 10%.

Then we have property taxes, which tends to be a yearly expense based on what nearby homes are trading for.

which you may not be able to keep paying if the economic downturn cost you your job.

That’s a completely different factor, which isn’t directly linked to housing costs. Housing can crash, if done properly without the economy being in a bad shape. Supply, demand and force owners to live in the house. Boom, price crash.

The people who gains something from house prices increases, are people that own multiple houses and people looking to downgrade.

People wanting to die in their current home, doesn’t lose anything.

People looking to swap to a pricier home, doesn’t lose anything.

People looking to enter the market, doesn’t lose anything.

  • Pretty sure the channel is owned and run by that AI platform, this is a cheap way of funding advertisement compared to the potential views

Actual maths, Google Ads blended average sits at 2.4 cents per view. That’d total 24.000$ for one million impressions. Which this movie got.

Then on top you can add the cost per click, which averages 3.8$ for technology products. Assuming one in a thousand would click the link, that represents a further cost of 3.800$

I’m pretty confident to claim this video to be the cheapest form of advertisement, especially because it’s jolly making people associate the company with something positive rather than just another annoying ad popping up
