Reddit have also announced their plan to go logged in only.

Combine the requirement to register to see anything with the age verification and you have a lot of people who will never visit your site again.

They are going to see a massive dropoff in readership from Australia. Luckily my accounts haven’t required verification so far but if they did I guess I’ll never visit reddit again.

I wanted to love the socialists party but every event I just got hit by SocAlt members regurgitating their talking points and I realised the party is not full of my kind of Socialists.

I have nothing against the party or SocAlt but I just don’t fit the niche they are trying to steer the party in. I would still be very happy to see them get someone elected and push Australian politics in the general right direction though.

It is an exciting time for The Greens under Shoebridge and I am very interested to see how the direction of the party goes from here. He is already backing some much more exciting policy than I have seen from The Greens for a while.

I was tempted to head to Adelaide but will dial in instead this time. I haven’t yet heard of any arrangements but I assume there will probably be a watch party at most state offices too.

I have wondered if “breeding kink” is really a kink in the way we usually use the term or it is just our animal instincts compelling us to reproduce which some people supress better than others.
