You actually make a pretty good point. If the the next fallout games hadn’t been bethesda slop, NV probably wouldn’t still have the same reputation. I remember really liking the writing in FNV, but I would have a hard time saying the game holds up considering it was broken out the gate.

Man every year that goes by people glaze that game a little harder.

Somehow I don’t think there are gonna be any humans in 5 billion years. Even if we had a body plan as perfect as a shark or a crab ,resisting evolution that long is gonna be pretty hard. Also the inherent instability of human civilization.

I could be wrong but when large stars collapse I believe their gravity stays mostly the same, such that most things in orbit are uneffected.

I prefer to think of it as having the bravery to end a bloodline that reaches directly back to the first earth organism. The buck stops here.

Maybe its just because I’ve been in a lot of dog fights, but if someone close to you swings something heavy, i think most people would drop the gun to try stopping it. However it is sooo situational.

Brother I aint said shit about how I feel about gun ownership, you read into that. I’m just pointing out that I really do think a claw hammer is just an overall more utilitarian self defense weapon.

I can grab it at a moments notice as it can safely be left out, you don’t have to load it or aim it so using it is fast and simple. If its my home they’re invading I know where to hide. I trust my ability to swing and hit someone in a panic far more than I do my ability to handle a gun under the same pressure. Its just going to be easier and more reliable to hit someones head with a hammer than it will be to shoot them.

A claw hammer would be a better option than a gun. Why does everyone assume that a gun would be the best thing to defend yourself with in all situations.

Browsing the relationship subs on reddit will affect your mental health. Disfunctional people writing hate fanfics of fake versions of themselves.

2 or 3 coffees a week is the most I can do before I start getting headaches. I can drink a tea every day for a week and a half and then I start getting headaches.

Yeah if it is a work laptop then your caution is warranted. The thing about linux is, eventually something will go wrong. However, with the slightest inclination and some internet searching skills you can always fix the issue. Windows and Mac like to fight you when you want to tinker with something, but Linux facilitates it.

Putting linux on that thing will give it several more years. The performance gap between windows and linux just keeps growing.

I think the vast majority of dog owners don’t really understand their dog. What their dog needs, how to read their body language, how to go about instilling discipline. The problem is that they are not cats, they need you more than a cat and are going to consistently take more work. You don’t really need to understand your cat for it to have well being but the same is not true for a dog.

That’s true but the business model is built around the quick fill up. Incentives will change when people have to spend an hour at their stop. Also a majority of people will not be driving far enough from their house to need it. I think convenience stores will stick around except the ones that operate off highways. Those ones will have to change into what high way rest stops are. It would also be possible just to install chargers at existing rest stops.
