I captured the same image without fog in October of 2023. Here's a side-by-side. [OC]English3·2 years agoOnce you get into the woods the fog is substantially less. Not sure why. Basic setup. Canon EOS RP + 400mm lens with a solar filter attached. The filters are relatively cheap; mine is made by a company called Thousand Oaks Optical. Processed in Lightroom.
This was just a test of sorts but I was surprised how well it came out. Next I’ll try a 4K video and stack the frames with PIPP/AutoStakkert.
