Douglas Luiz has been a joy to watch since he signed for villa. He’s grown so much. Came into his own during lockdown, then didn’t reach that quality as often over the next season and a half (probably controversial opinion amongst villa fans) and has just excelled under Emery.

Martinez has been good this season. Last season was a dip from his first one - long may it continue.

Pretty awful game in Tallaght by all accounts but Rovers came away with the win - they’ve an easier run in than Derry now although they’re not playing for 3 weeks which is beyond ridiculous so it’ll be interesting if that saps their momentum somewhat.
