Yeah, that sounds about right. I’m pretty sure the e-ink screen was full usage, too - you could use it as your primary screen if you wanted to, instead of being limited to just an e-reader like this. That would save a lot of battery power if you weren’t watching video or playing action games.

These “punishment after the fact” laws never work to deter the crimes from happening to begin with, and are done strictly for propaganda purposes. Actually addressing the mental health issues before they reach the point of becoming criminal behavior is much harder to quantify and take credit for, so it never happens even though it’d be much more effective at actually preventing the crimes they claim they’re trying to prevent. It’s the same old dog and pony show it’s been for decades, and it’s thoroughly disgusting.
