One time in maths class I tuned in and they were talking about politics. And then I go "wait, isn’t this supposed to be a maths class? And the teacher just goes “it can be both”.

That is the only time I ever tuned in for that particular maths teacher. She was not very good

Presses button. Teleports to the moon. “Whelp, that tracks I guess”. Dies of asphyxiation.

Me: My HRT provider is a bunch of fucking vampires, I hate them, they’re so expensive. I should be able to just ask my GP for hormones and then pick them up from the pharmacy the next day. Fuck them.

(I’m sorry what happened when you tried to go get hormones? )

Also me: I love my HRT provider. They’re so compassionate and understanding. I didn’t even get gatekept when I told them I was autistic. Glory be to the vampires, take all my blood, I wasn’t using it for anything important!

Pretending you didn’t hear them often helps. Not always, sometimes they’re right stubborn about it but I’ve been wolf whistled and received some truly odd comments and just not even glanced their direction and most of them do not bother to follow up. They’re looking for a reaction. Don’t make it easy for them

Hell, one time I was out with a group, and they were talking to some kids and they asked if I was a boy or a girl and I straight up ignored them and let the group answer for me. Didn’t even open my mouth. A little scary but I loved the results honestly.

There’s a certain type of person who takes pride in the fact they’ve never shoplifted while never having been close enough to the poverty line to know desparation. Who cannot understand the concept of genuine nessessity. Who thinks the hand people were dealt in life should not be considered in a moral measure of their character. For want of a better word, a privileged person.

I don’t trust someone untested by life because there’s a strong chance they’ll heel turn the second something doesn’t go their way. Its easy to be generous when you have a billion dollars to give away if that makes sense

I trust someone who has fallen into darkness and returned to the light a lot more than I trust a paragon who has never known temptation. On its face. There are people who still carry the darkness with them. Trans women who didn’t stop being bullies but just chose more acceptable targets. But those of us who have hated and been shown hate is wrong… I think that’s a beautiful thing. What happened in your past is between you and your victims, and its up to you to make peace with them. But I’m not here to beat you up over actions you already know were stupid and wrong
