No problem! Thanks to you for your help and kindness!

I tried it only via terminal. I’d try it on the store but I can’t even find it. I searched for more information adapted to my absolute beginner level and didn’t find anything that helped me. I tried using pacman and yay but everytime there’s an issue with the mirrors, core or whatever other reason I can’t comprehend. I used the cmd on LMDE quite a lot more than I may have needed, but unless you want to do highly specific things, you don’t need it that much, but I could be wrong. For the moment I find apt way easier to use and more practical.

Thanks! I finally solved it!

I’ll have that in mind in case it happens in the future! Thanks a lot!

I tried it and it worked! The only issue I’m having now is that it can’t read the savefiles and I don’t know how to fix that. I’ll keep updating.

For the moment I tried endeavourOS in a VM and I can’t even get to install brave. I don’t know if it’s a VM issue, endeavourOS issue or I’m just missing something dumb. Do you know if there’s any guide for total total noobs? The windows things won’t be an issue bc I won’t boot windows, I’ll go LMDE + the “gaming” OS that I end up deciding is better for me.

Oh, didn’t think of that. Thanks!

I did that. Doesn’t solve it. Thanks anyways!

I tried it and it made some programs (like DaVinci, which is a priority) stop working entirely. For the vast majority worked, tho.

I installed Bioshock Remaster, which seems to be Windows. It opens with no problems.

What kind of game should I try to install? Windows based?

I’ll save that RockyOS option just in case, since I would like the distro to support DaVinci and gaming at the same time. Thankss

Thanks mate! Very glad I finally did the jump into the Linux world 🫡

I’m totally sure I didn’t. Installed metro via Lutris GOG installer and Dysco Elysium via Bottles and then “Add locally installed game” pointing to a .bat that runs the game.

Didn’t work. Thank you anyways!

Yeah, I turned on and off several times the system since it started at least one week ago

I was about to send a reply saying I already tried that and didn’t work. Guess what: it kinda worked haha. I tried opening Metro 2033 and worked (weird thing: My GPU and fans or whatever started go berserk. Didn’t stop until I activated VSync, smh). Now what I would need to solve would be being able to run locally preinstalled games (the one I have was installed via Bottles) and fix gamescope so I can use it without crashing. Thank you very much!

It’s Linux Mint Debian Edition 7 (LMDE 7)
Yeah, I found those commands and all, but still don’t work for some reason. As you said, I’m pretty sure it’s an installation or VM issue. I’ll try to find out what’s happening there. Thank you!
