Just… something to note there. If minimum wage wasn’t so high more 16 year Olds would get jobs while they still live with their parents and can afford having low wages - so they have experience later.

Effectively what we have right now is a paradox where you need experience to get a job, but every job requires a certain amount of experience. This is because of the minimum wage, companies literally cannot afford to train people on the job.

I’m gonna be honest this is a dumb way to view these issues. “You’re either with me or against me” just fuels an “us vs them” mentality that leads to hate and division more than anything. Ok but how are plants not being exploited? Also it could be said that you can get meat without exploiting animals, such as getting rid of invasive species. At a certain point it’s not a diet it’s an ideology, and I feel they should have separate names. Because let’s say you’re just against exploitation of living organisms, then you’d be fine with eating invasive species, or meat hunted yourself, but deny eating anything from a farm.

I’d say when it comes to veganism it’s basically up to what you personally want to eat. I personally have no moral quandary with eating animals but if you do, I wouldn’t call you a hypocrite for eating jellyfish. Plants feel pain too, in a similar way, I could see it being justified. Taxonomy shouldn’t decide your morality.
