  • Steam is more consumer friendly than GoG because it offers Linux compatibility and lets the customer choose whether they want DRM.

All physical media also comes with a license.

Men are encouraged to be more in touch with their emotions, but aren’t given a safe place to explore them. Men-only communities should be just as accepted as women-only communities.

“Yes, all black people” is just as valid an opinion as “yes, all men” for all of the same reasons.

The US is just as progressive as the rest of the world when it comes to trans athletes playing women’s sports (no country allows trans athletes to compete in women’s sports).

US gun control legislation has its roots in civil rights and class consciousness. Early gun control legislation was intended to directly target groups of marginalized people arming themselves against a tyrannical police force and that’s still its main intent.

“Political violence” is passing laws that harm people, not punching someone because they voted for the other guy.

  • Meanwhile, the fediverse has women-only communities; this is seen as completely normal and any criticism of it is met with swift dissent and disapproval.

If a woman wants to invade a male-only space, no problem, good for her, that’s called feminism or whatever virtue-sinaling term you want to use, have an updoot.

If a man wants to invade a women-only space, it’s patriarchy, harassment, oppression, and trolling, have a ban.

  • The delisted games dealt in subject matter that is difficult to justify.

The problem is who gets to decide what’s “difficult to justify”. That should be up to the individual, not the payment card company.

MasterCard doesn’t need to help anybody buy “games” about incest, rape, or sexual assault of minors.

That might be your opinion, but again, who gets to decide what’s on that list? If you don’t think those games need to be played, then don’t play them. It’s not hurting anyone when someone plays a video game, no matter how icky the game makes you feel. No one is forcing you to play anything.

I’ve never regretted anything I’ve done. I only regret the things I didn’t do, the thing I didn’t say, the feelings I didn’t express.

My mistakes were required to grow and learn. They’re part of me and don’t define me; we’re all better than our worst mistakes.
