Potter is more of a rip off of Lord of the Rings imo.
Orphan who has to stop a once defeated but now returning dark lord, via destroying object(s) that contain his soul, with the help of a wizard and companions, all while evading the evil followers of the dark lord. Receives powerful artefacts that help him (cloak of invisibility vs sting/mithril coat). Assisted by a father/teacher figure that at first appears to be evil but turns out to be a good and beloved friend (Aragorn/Sirius Black).

Mold is the hidden predator that consumes even the dragon, the darkness that reflects the greater unknown that surrounds even the leviathan. If you take Moby Dick for instance, mold is the true antagonist, the great depths that surround and threaten both the protagonist, your physical self, and the whale, your metaphysical antithesis! After 10 years of Reddit it’s finally moved me here too. I’ll keep my Reddit account specifically for some niche hobby subs, but other than that, time for a new adventure.
