  • Have you considered the self defense talk and guns as the problem? All that talk is only a result of guns being allowed in the first place. All the self defense classes I know about revolve around one thing: get yourself to savety asap and alarm people near you. And that is possible when the average joe doesn’t own a gun. So I will not respect the decision to shot someone 5 times just because “he acted exactly as they were taught”, maybe he should’ve taken a self defense course for self defense without a gun idk

  • I stuck with superproductivity. It supperts boards (you can configure your own board, but kanban and eisenhower are build in i think (i dont use that feature) i like how they handle projects and task storage. They have a philosophy of not adding task from a project to the daily clutter, you chose yourself. If helps to not feel overwhelmed and it can store tasks.

Its not that good for lists of things imo, its better for for timetracking. But you can create a task and easily do subtasks and use it as a list. Also I think it is installable via docker but I don’t know, I havent used docker, but a search gave some results.

  • I am trying at the moment to use a pop-up which suggests different acivities. First when opening an app and then every 15 minutes or so. Works somewhat, I read a few pages because of that, but kinda annyoing when I want to use the app and sink my time in. I try to aim it at my resolve, with texts that help me answer the question “do I really want to do that or am I just doing it because it’s convenient”

Also sometimes going for 100% blocking everything just has a bad yoyo effect, maybe try more of reducing it/ replacing the time spend and allow yourself at a designated time frame to use these attention traps or something idk.

  • I don’t know what you are on about, the author writes 1-2 of these articles per day and that is just not a speed at which you can write articles with that density of citations. I use AI because I am fucking tired of reading AI slop articles by someone who wants me to sell AI thoughts as their own.

But here you are just saying “AI won’t do this” as your sole reason why you and the article are not AI. Show me where the annoying frequency of “it’s not this – it’s that” in that article is human made. yea sure human can do that too, but when I look up articles from websites with an AI policy vs no AI policy there are often two distinct differences: the frequency of articles by a single author And the usage of “it’s not this – it’s that” and m-dashes, because they don’t follow that pattern in every damn paragraph and use m-dashes are completly different places most of the time.

Bot behaviour to defend youself not being a bot btw.
