Seriously though, I can’t believe anyone would give Meta this kind of is power over their lives. It’s utterly unnecessary in the best case scenario. But there is no scenario where Meta are not going to maximise engagement and leverage it to sell advertisements.

Buy a second hand laptop and install Linux on it. You’ll be happier and so will the planet.
