@bitofhope Many people don’t even realize there *are* alternatives.

I use LibreOffice at home and work, and the rest of people at work I think the one they’re using is called WPS Office. (They’re mutually compatible so the fact I use something different doesn’t matter much.)

Yet despite the many (mostly-compatible) options out there, people often don’t know of them. So pointing it out is … nagging?

I guess they’re stuck if they don’t even want to hear about alternatives. C’est la vie.

I’m not on any commercial social media, and here in the Fediverse I have any mention of Threads or Bluesky or any other techbrodude psychopathy amplifier filtered away. If they’re not here as natives they’re not reaching me.

We had a conversation about your terms of service a few months back. You said you’d fix up some of those. Nothing has changed for the better.

I would be disappointed if I didn’t actually expect this. Techbrodudes, privacy, and consent don’t go together.
