The production value in this was abysmal. If Powerpoint animation is your thing, congratulations, it’s here.

Those criticizing the animation quality in TBATE ought to watch this before writing anything else.

But I was surprised by the story. All kinds of not-so subtle things hint that something is off:

The villagers refer to themselves as Children of Moloch, not a traditionally good thing to call yourself.

Our protagonist hints that he’s got memories of our modern world, and incongruously, magic.

If I can stomach the animation, this might be worth watching some more.
