There are plenty of renditions of the Alice story with an older Alice and the story in general has become pretty synonymous with other adult topics (for example the general psychedelic aesthetic) that I don’t really connect it with the original character much.
But I can see how some other people might see it differently, so I guess it’s a fair call to not want it publicly shown.
