Me last Tuesday: “why the fuck am I in the kitchen?”

Me yesterday, walking down the street: “oh that flower looks just like the one I have, too bad mine is dying. Good thing I noticed it and watered it this week - wait, did I actually water it? I only remember I decided to water it but don’t remember doing it - OH that’s why I was in the kitchen that time”

This is an easy solve. Just go travel somewhere and you’ll immediately remember when you get on the plane.

I was once trying to find a remote and after i stood up pissed off flailing my arms saying “where the fuck is it!” only to realise after about 5 mins that i was holding it in my hand the whole time.

These days i would go to stand up and forget why and be like “was i trying to get something? or go see about something?”, not looking forward to my future.

I lost about £80,000 worth of bitcoin to that business there. Super secure password ran through some encryption. Handwritten paper so it couldnt be stolen by hackers or anything.

That paper is so fucking safe.

I worked with a guy with a usb key with what would now be $millions of Bitcoin. He can’t find it anywhere.

Imagine losing enough money to retire…

The threshold effect is very annoying.

If I go back where I was I usually remember why I left in the first place, but like, damn shitty short term memory! Or is it object permanence? Probably both, who am I kidding :p
