What a dark day. His loss is immeasurable, but like those who came and left before him, what he has given us will live on forever.

Many of my favourite moments in all of media are of this, out of place, British/French/Space man, speaking softly and at length about morality and the human experience. He still continues to give me hope that Humanity can eventually surpass the greed, hate and fear that hold us all down. Hopefully, we can see a glimpse of it in our lifetime.

I’m so glad we got one last go around with Picard in Season 3 while he was still here. I was just watching Unification: Part I last night and enjoying this scene:
B’iJik: How would it benefit the Klingon Empire? I’m sure Gowron will ask.
Picard: The only benefit to the Klingon Empire would be our gratitude.
B’iJik: That is what you want me to tell him?
