minus-squaresphere074@piefed.calinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up0·1 day agoAccording to the link Helsinki is worse in many other areas in November though: 40% more cloudy sky Less than 50% as much fully clear sky More than 100% higher daily chance of precipitation About 2.8 times the amount of rainfall 87% as much daylight Throughout the year Winnipeg may be worse in some aspects than this, but Helsinki is definitely worse in November on many scales.
minus-squareAlbbi@piefed.calinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up0·1 day agoYou have to compare the rainfall graph with the snowfall graph. It all turns to snow in Winnipeg. But Winnipeg does have beautiful skies.
minus-squareboonhet@sopuli.xyzlinkfedilinkarrow-up0·17 hours agoAye, but the snow is nice… until it melts at least. Near-freezing rain sucks
minus-squaresphere074@piefed.calinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up0·21 hours agoAh yes that is true, that was misleading. To me those beautiful skies sound like they make Winnipeg a nice place to live, even with the cold. Helsinki sounds like it just has nothing going for it.
