I never heard that about Substack. The only thing kind of in the same vein was the blog site Pathos started filtering negative posts about religion and a bunch of atheists left.
Nothing about DNS and/or IP blocking it? What’s the point of quitting using the website/app if you’re still letting it stalk you across the web via third-party scripts and hidden pixels?
If you don’t like X then don’t use it but to pretend twitter is dangerous is absurd.
It’s not like the concept of using media as a source of misinformation and a tool for fascism has no historical precedent. What’s absurd, is for it to be so black and white, and a bunch of finger clogged people going “nu-uh, dis different”
